The grave of Jan van Brenen, who died 24 August 1928 at the age of 86, and his grandson Jan G. van Brenen, who passed away when he was nine years old, on 23 March 1930.
With the help of Genlias, the Dutch database of birth, marriage and death records, I reconstructed this little family tree:
- Jan van Brenen, son of Antonie van Brenen and Gijsbertje Hogeweg, born 23 February 1842 in Rhenen, died 24 August 1928 in Doorn. He married Gijsbertha Oosterbeek, daughter of Wouter Oosterbeek and Cornelia van Reekum, on 17 October 1873 in Doorn.
- Anthonie van Brenen, born 2 December 1878 in Doorn, died 21 December 1940 in Utrecht. He married Gijsje van Donselaar, daughter of Faas van Donselaar and Maria Jansen, on 31 May 1906 in Doorn.
- Jan Gijsbertus van Brenen, died on 23 March 1930 in Doorn at the age of nine.
